The notice that governs this site

This Privacy Notice covers drtalks.ai: the doctors dashboard, and the connectors that let an AI assistant read the analytics for the sites you run.

What the dashboard processes

Signing in creates an account record — your name, email address, and the organisation you belong to — held by our authentication provider.

The dashboard also stores the configuration for each chat widget you run, including the site domain, the practice details you enter, and the content sources you choose to index, together with aggregate analytics about conversations on those sites.

Connectors for AI assistants

You can connect your DrTalks account to an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT. You authorise the connection yourself through a standard OAuth sign-in, and you can revoke it at any time from the assistant.

The connectors are read-only. They retrieve information from your DrTalks account and cannot create, change, or delete anything. An assistant you have connected can read:

• The sites in your account, with practice name, domain, indexing status, and subscription status
• Aggregate conversation analytics for a site — chat volume over a period, totals, and trends
• Aggregate link-click analytics — total clicks, clicks by link type, and the most-clicked links
• Aggregate suggested-question analytics — clicks, conversions, and the most-used questions

How long information is kept

Your account record and dashboard data are kept for as long as your account is active, and are deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period after the account is closed.

The connectors do not create a second copy of your analytics. They read the records the dashboard already holds and return them to the assistant for that one request.

DrTalks does keep a record that a connector request was made — which account made it, the tool called, the site and time range requested, and whether the call succeeded. Those records are retained under this notice.

What connectors cannot read

Every connector response is assembled from an explicit list of permitted fields rather than copied wholesale from our records. Chat transcripts and information that could identify an individual visitor are not on that list and are not sent to the assistant.

When you use a connector, the information above is transmitted to the assistant provider you chose, at your direction and subject to that provider’s own terms and privacy policy. DrTalks records that a connector request was made so account owners can review access.
