Everything you need to get your DrTalks chat widget up and running on your website.
Copy your actual embed script from the API Keys page in your DrTalks dashboard. The snippets below show the structure for reference only.
Custom HTML / Other Platforms
If your website is built on a platform not listed above — such as Webflow, HubSpot, Ghost, or a custom-coded site — you can add the widget by pasting the script directly into your HTML.
- Open your website's HTML file (or the template that generates your pages).
- Find the
<head>section. - Paste your DrTalks embed script anywhere inside the
<head>tag. - Save and publish your changes.
Your embed script:

</html>The script uses the defer attribute, so it will not block your page from loading regardless of where you place it in the <head>. For most platforms with a "Custom Code" or "Code Injection" feature, simply paste the script into the Head section.
