Everything you need to get your DrTalks chat widget up and running on your website.
The DrTalks AI plugin adds the chat widget to every page of your website. Before setup, collect your Widget ID and Website URL from Setup & Docs → API Keys in your DrTalks dashboard.
Step 1: Download and install the plugin
Install the official DrTalks AI WordPress plugin from GitHub.
- In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New.
- Click Upload Plugin and choose the downloaded ZIP file.
- Click Install Now.
- Click Activate Plugin.
Step 2: Find your Widget ID and Website URL
Sign in to DrTalks and copy these from the API Keys page. You will paste them into the DrTalks AI plugin settings in WordPress.
Find your Widget ID and domain
- Log in to your DrTalks account at https://drtalks.ai.
- Open Setup & Docs → API Keys.
- Copy the Widget ID for your website. It looks like
widget_yoursite-com_xxxxxxxx. - Copy the Website URL next to your widget. It looks like
https://yoursite.com.
