Everything you need to get your DrTalks chat widget up and running on your website.
Copy your actual embed script from the API Keys page in your DrTalks dashboard. The snippet below shows the structure for reference only.
Add DrTalks to Shopify
Add the widget to your Shopify store by editing your theme code. This takes about 2 minutes.
- In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
- Before editing, create a backup of your live theme. Click the "..." (three dots) button on your current theme and select Duplicate. This gives you a safe copy to restore from if anything goes wrong.
- On your live theme, click the "..." (three dots) button again, then select Edit code.
- In the left sidebar under Layout, click on theme.liquid.
- Find the closing
</head>tag and paste your embed script just before it. - Click Save.
Your embed script will look like this:

<!-- End DrTalks Chat Widget -->The widget will appear on all pages of your Shopify store. If you also have a separate main website (e.g., on WordPress), you'll need to install the widget there separately using a different site configuration in your DrTalks dashboard.
